Franchise Brand Matchmaking Event

On Thursday 2nd June, Maxxelli hosted a ‘matchmaking event,’ linking representatives of prominent Singaporean brands and Chinese investors. There were around 20 people at the event, with different backgrounds and career history, linked by their interest in building new business opportunities.

After Maxxelli’s Operational Manager, Robert van Aert introduced the services Maxxelli provides, Fish Huang, Business Manager, gave a detailed overview of the booming business environments in Chengdu and Chongqing, The brands then presented their products and services, explaining why they were hoping to expand in China and details of potential partnerships. This was a chance to gain an overview of the different companies.

The brands include ‘Snackz It,’ ‘Manhattan Fish Market,’ ‘Atrteasiq,’ ‘Hans,’ and ‘Fat Boy Burger Bar,’ all well known food and beverage brands in Singapore, ‘Cambridge Pre School,’ a prestigious kindergarten and ‘Pet Lovers Center,’ a pet care brand.

After enjoying lunch, there were opportunities for the investors to gain more in depth understanding of the brands, through one on one sessions. Also present at the event were IFS, the biggest luxury mall in Chengdu, who are interested in featuring promising brands.
